The staple length of Supima cotton is about 35 % longer than that of other cotton types, which lends the fibres softness and sheen. There are also fewer short fibres, which is why the cotton is very resistant to abrasion and pilling. Even after numerous washes, the cotton remains pleasantly soft and keeps its shape.
Only about 3 % of the American cotton harvest receives the »SUPIMA« seal of quality. The production of Supima cotton takes place exclusively at selected and certified locations in the USA and is subject to strict quality control. The aim is to produce the best cotton sustainably and without the use of chemicals.
