An old hunting bag from the beginning of the 19th century served as the model.The »Woodcock« hunting bag is made of robust, vegetable-tanned cowhide, manufactured by hand in Germany. If you bend the leather, it takes on a lighter colour, which disappears again after a while - this special feature is called the »pull-up effect«. The matt surface of the leather without defect-covering finish guarantees a natural feel and forms a particularly beautiful and individual patina over time. The leather blanks are processed with open edges, just like the original.The bag has two separate compartments for your equipment and a game net. One compartment is made of water-repellent, waxed cotton canvas and offers perfect protection against moisture. The main leather compartment has an additional inside pocket for your hunting licence, as well as ten loops for small-shot cartridges. The robust game net is traditionally made in a knotted design - a quality of workmanship that is very rarely found anymore.Distinctive details such as the round-stitched leather handles, which serve to attach the individually adjustable carrying strap, and the metal rings made of solid brass skilfully round off the elegant design. With its wide flap and rounded corners, the bag impresses with its discreet elegance and timeless style.
