These carpenter's mortise chisels from the Henry Taylor traditional forge have a thicker and longer shaft for extra strength and durability. For carpenters, an indispensable tool for the professional construction of log and half-timbered houses or for chiselling mortises. They are excellent for working the joints for dovetail ceiling beams and for finishing the saddles. The ergonomically shaped ash handle with sturdy hoop is comfortable to hold, the solid blade is carefully forged and hardened. Hardness 59 HRC.
