The AX-40 enables all axe types to be sharpened with very high precision. To obtain a symmetrical cutting edge, the jig is simply turned with the axe clamped. The high-load clamping jaws made of composite material feature two stop cams to ensure the perfect grinding position for all types and sizes of axe heads To grind rounded edges, the axe is moved between the two stop cams.

With variable adjustment positions, carving hatchets, carpenter's axes, splitting axes, and more can be sharpened easily and precisely.
