The solid cast Kindling Cracker, designed in New Zealand and produced in Australia, significantly minimises the risk of injury when making kindling. In contrast to the splitting process with an axe, which has to be guided through the air in a more or less controlled manner, the log is placed on the upward-pointing cutting edge of the Kindling Cracker and cut into pieces with relatively little effort just by hitting it with a hammer or log. The cast ring on the top not only provides protection but also prevents the log from tilting. The Kindling Cracker should be firmly screwed into the floor or chopping block using the screw holes provided on the base to ensure secure positioning. The cutting edge can be resharpened by hand. Weight: 4.8 / 9.4 kg.
