The traditional Japanese art of woodworking »Hakone Yosegi Zaiku« is reflected in this elaborately crafted handle. Walnut and Mizuki (pagoda dogwood) are artistically combined to create this attractive pattern. The Hitachi ATS314 steel* core layer is sandwiched between a total of 62 folded stainless steel outer layers, creating a fascinating blade pattern. Double bevel, rustproof, hardness 60 HRC.
