Traditional Bradawl, Solid Carbide

A quality tool with tradition

Bradawl made of solid carbide with sharp tip for precise marking and pre-punching of drill holes...
Bradawl made of solid carbide with sharp tip for precise marking and pre-punching of drill holes in soft and hard woods. The sharp edges, from the 10° pyramid tip to the ferrule, cleanly cut through every wood fibre, ideal for pre-drilling screw and nail holes - without splitting the material. The turned handle made of Santos rosewood is finely finished with a multi-layer shellac polish, and has a beautiful shape and a special feel. The ergonomically rounded end of the handle and the finger recess on the lower edge of the handle ensure comfortable force transmission and a secure grip. Solid carbide, hardened to 92 HRC. Handle diameter 34 mm.
Hand tools made of solid carbide
These woodworking tools never need to be re-sharpened, remain extremely sharp, are rustproof and, with normal use, will give pleasure for generations.
Made in the USA
The production combines traditional manufacturing processes with state-of-the-art technologies. Each blade is precision ground on CNC surface grinding machines and then finished by hand. The solid bronze ferrule with fine cross grooves connects handle and blade with utmost precision. The surface of the turned handle made of Santos rosewood is finished with a multi-layer shellac polish after fine sanding with 400 grit.
