A column drill press incl. Veritas drill-press table for every workshop. Whether as a bench or a floor version: a column drill press is indispensable for drilling exact holes. The solid, cast iron drill head is equipped with chrome-plated controls, quill levers with soft-grip handles and integrated drill depth stop, a height-adjustable, two-piece drill chuck cover with safety switch, user-friendly on/off switch with undervoltage release and a separate emergency stop impact switch.
Tried-and-tested V-belt drive and grey cast iron pulleys provide optimum power transmission for 12 speeds from 180 to 2740 rpm. Cover with safety switch.
Stable machine table, rotatable (360°) and tiltable (± 45°), with four diagonally arranged T-slots (width 15/28 mm) for securing helpful devices. Height adjustment of the table by a crank and lateral toothed rack.
Solid base with two grooves (width 15 mm), reinforced with ribs on the back.

The table features sliding jaws on the longitudinal fence, which can be opened for drilling over edge or e.g. when using a grinding roller. Separately available fence flip-stops can be attached to the top of the T-slot rails as an additional stop. Four Ø 19 mm dog holes allow accessories such as clamps, bench dogs, etc. to be attached. An opening in the middle accepts an exchangeable 10 x 10 cm square sacrificial wooden insert which can be precisely levelled by four adjusting screws. If the wooden insert is worn out, it can be replaced by self-made wood inserts. Precisely milled from 18 mm laminated Baltic birch plywood. Size of the table top 394 x 292 mm.
