Vergez Blanchard Half Moon Knife, Blade Width 150 mm

Traditional saddler's knife with a wide half-moon shaped blade, sometimes called a crescent knife, is the oldest and most versatile knife used by saddlers and leatherworkers worldwide. Particularly useful for working tight radii thanks to the backward-pointing tips. The centre cutting area is used to make long, precise cuts, because the large, round blade makes it easy to make a pushed cut or also to reduce the thickness of the leather, especially in places that are to be bent or folded. Hand-forged steel with ready-to-use bevel. Precious wood handle with brass ferrule. 59-62 HRC.
