With this exclusive knife-making kit, you can create a unique hunting or outdoor knife with a forged blade. The blade impresses with its high-quality cutting core made of Blue Paper Steel, renowned for its exceptional edge retention. Fourteen outer layers of Suminagashi steel create a distinctive and striking pattern. With a hardness of 62 HRC, the blade is extremely robust, durable, and retains its sharpness well, though it is not completely rustproof. Stabilised curly mango wood is used as handle material. This exotic wood is characterised by its attractive grain and exceptional stability, giving your knife not only an impressive appearance but also an excellent feel. Epoxy adhesive (e.g. No. 450379) is recommended for glueing the handle materials.

The included »Crossdraw« leather sheath, made of natural buffalo leather, is specially designed for the cross-draw carry method, where the knife is worn diagonally on the belt. This sheath is the perfect complement to your custom-built knife. The natural buffalo leather not only gives the sheath a rustic and authentic look, but also offers a pleasant, soft and warm feel. Moreover, the leather allows it to be individually customised. You can stamp it, work on the edges, or dye it to give the sheath a personal touch.
