The DICTUM Children's Carving Knife is the ideal tool for young craftspeople, offering both safety and precision. With its hand guard and rounded blade tip, this knife ensures safe handling and minimises the risk of injury.

The DICTUM Children's Carving Knife is also available with the »Crossdraw« leather sheath (No. 708862) made of untreated buffalo leather, which is an ideal addition. This leather sheath not only reliably protects the knife but also allows for safe and convenient use on outdoor adventures.

Caution! This is not a toy and is only to be used under the direct supervision of an adult. The adult is responsible for the correct handling by children and for their safety.

The blade is made of Finnish carbon steel 80CrV2 (not rustproof), refined with small amounts of chromium and vanadium. These are carbide formers and provide excellent edge retention and a fine-grained steel structure. The forged skin was left on the blades to protect them from corrosion. The handles, made in Germany from beech wood, offer perfect grip thanks to their diamond-grooved surface. This ensures safe and comfortable handling, even during extended carving sessions. The excellent tactile feel of the handles also contributes to safety and precision during use.
