Ideal for treating large surfaces with wood stains, oils and sealants
The Stain Pad Double Thick application sponge comes in the form of a 15 x 20 cm pad that can be cut by the user to the exact size required. The double thickness of the foam core can absorb more oil or stain, and is therefore perfect for larger surfaces. Unlike rags, which exert uneven pressure, the Stain Pad's absorbent foam core provides even pressure over the entire application surface for smooth, streak-free application. Thanks to the impermeable centre membrane, you can use one side of the applicator for application and the other side for smoothing. The loop- and lint-free material does not catch on even the roughest wood and ensures a perfect finish. Ideal applicator pad for all wood stains, oils and sealants.
Fire hazard due to oil-soaked rags
Oil-soaked rags pose a serious fire hazard. Stain Pad can drastically reduce this risk as its single-layer, porous construction allows it to dry without generating heat. However, we still recommend drying the Stain Pad in a safe place, away from other flammable materials.
