Bridge City HP-6FX Mini Multi-Plane

The mini multi hand plane surprises in precision and versatility with outstanding planing results...
The mini multi hand plane surprises in precision and versatility with outstanding planing results when chamfering, rebating, profile and thickness planing. It impresses with high-quality workmanship and functional aesthetics. The plane body has been engineered to accept a guide fence or depth skids on either side. The cutting angle of 55° allows for tear-free surfaces (e.g. in the case of unfavourable grain), which hardly need to be reworked. For rebating across the grain, the front plane sole is equipped with two spurs.
The cutting depth adjustment with quick-change mechanism allows easy replacement of the plane blade. Fine tuning is precise within 0.05 mm and made via the knurled screw. The blade support (bevel down) is designed in such a way that no lateral adjustment is required for the plane blade. All components are CNC-milled, plane body and sole are made of stainless steel, fence and depth skids are made of solid aluminium (6061 aluminium alloy) and anodised. The knurled screws are precision ground and PVD coated. The plane mouth is adjustable via the front sole.
Included in delivery:
  • Plane blade with straight edge for chamfering, rebating and thickness planing made of A2 steel for hard and soft wood
  • Flat plane soles rear/front, sliding via a precise dovetail guide

  • Tiltable guide fence for precise 45° or 90° edges, can be fixed both to the left and right of the plane body by means of two guide rods
  • Hex key for adjusting the spurs and depth skids
