Both hands free for clamps and cauls
With the glueing aid, clamps and clamping tools find space in numerous recesses under the workpiece. This always allows the workpieces to lie well on the narrow upper edge of the glueing aid. Suitable recesses are incorporated for normal screw clamps, body clamps and aluminium bar clamps, as well as for clamping elements with ¾ inch tubes. Almost all clamping tools find sufficient hold in the recesses and remain upright. This means that you have both hands free when glueing and can comfortably fasten the clamps and align the cauls.
Advantages
- Adjustable to fit the size of workpieces
- Compatible with a variety of clamping tools
- Vertical clamping tools, allowing for hands-free operation
- Both hands free to work
- Dripping glue does not smear edges
- Space-saving storage
No smudging
Compared to regular wooden strips or battens, the workpieces only touch very small surfaces on the glueing aid. Dripping glue runs directly off the narrow edges of the glueing aid, ensuring that the workpieces stay clean. The glueing aid does not adhere to the workpiece. This pays off especially when joining or glueing board surfaces. The coated surface of the glueing aid is easy to clean with a damp cloth.
Adaptable
The simple plug-in system allows you to customise the configuration of the glueing aid to perfectly match the dimensions of your workpieces. Each of the four metal elements of the glueing aid measures 900 mm in length. Most screw and body clamps align flush with the top edge of the glueing aid, allowing you to glue larger workpieces with ease. Even if the clamps extend beyond the sides, they will still securely grip the indentations and remain stable. And when you do not need the glueing aid, you can conveniently fold it up and store it in a space-saving manner or hang it up.
