The Backpack Dry Bag was engineered in Filson’s Seattle headquarters with input from experienced hunters, anglers and outdoorsmen. It has been built to provide 100 % waterproof protection to keep your gear dry. Built with tough 840-denier nylon tarpaulin fabric coated with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). The advantages of using a nylon fabric with this coating rather than polyester or canvas are lightness of weight, flexibility and abrasion resistance. The highly flexible TPU coating is resistant to ultraviolet light and chemicals, ensuring durability and longevity without wear and tear from hard use. The seams are radio-frequency (RF) welded, assuring flexible integrity without fail. All webbing and padding are securely stitched to an additional layer of the waterproof fabric, which is then RF-welded to the bag’s body. This construction meets the same high standards as applied in the manufacture of white-water rafting gear.The robust outer material and high-quality workmanship ensure that your gear is kept safe and dry even in extreme weather conditions. It is built to carry a full load comfortably and securely for miles. The removeable, padded hip belt supports the weight to keep it off your shoulders. The shoulder straps are contoured to the shape of your body and feature breathable foam padding, as well as a two-way adjustable sternum strap for stability, and mesh utility pockets and D-rings for gear attachment. Practical cartridge loops on either sides of the hip belt allow quick reloads when hunting. The exterior features a centred, clear zipped pocket plus side cargo and water-bottle pockets. The spacious main compartment is sealed with a large TIZIP zipper, the same type that is used in dry suits, for a fully water-tight seal. Inside is an additional zippered mesh pocket to keep valuables secure and organised.
