Here is a simple way to consistently control cut depth when using a backsaw. The 228 mm long aluminum rail is lightweight and easy to attach to the side of the blade with a high-friction magnetic strip. The stop can be attached to the left or right on the saw blade of back saws. The two clamp knobs with rare-earth magnet bases register against the spine of the saw and allow a precise adjustment of the depth stop. Maximum cutting depth 88 mm (depends on the blade height of your backsaw). Ideal e.g. for cutting tenons and making finger joints.
